How it Worked
To be eligible, Panda holders had to hold their NFTs during the snapshot taken prior to each event. Participants were required to download the Karate Combat app or Blade Wallet and verify their Panda ownership through a wallet signature. Each eligible holder could claim 100,000 KARATE tokens if they hadn’t already. KARATE tokens were then airdropped directly to their app or wallet, allowing them to vote for fighters in each round.
Competition Structure
The competition featured normal rounds, super rounds, and a final mega-round. The final first, second, and third-placed entrants received unique 1/1 traits and substantial rewards:
- 1st Place: Golden Gi – 125 million KARATE, valued at approximately $187,625 at the time of writing, and 375,000 Panda Points
- 2nd Place: Silver Gi – 50 million KARATE, valued at approximately $75,050 at the time of writing, and 150,000 Panda Points
- 3rd Place: Bronze Gi – 25 million KARATE, valued at approximately $37,525 at the time of writing, and 75,000 Panda Points
Additional trait prizes were awarded to the top five winners each round, including a humorous "wooden spoon" for the worst scorer.
